About The Editor

Nicholas Manning is a poet and writer who teaches comparative literature at the University of Strasbourg II, France. He is currently writing his doctoral thesis on the subject of rhetoric and sincerity in post-war European and American poetry. In 2004 he took his MA in twentieth-century poetics from the Sorbonne (Paris IV), and from 2003-2006 held a scholarship at the Ecole normale supérieure (rue d'Ulm).

His first full collection, entitled Novaless, will be released from Otoliths in August, 2008. Chapbooks are available from Achiote Press and Ypolita Press (forthcoming). His poems, articles, translations and reviews may be found in such places as Jacket, Verse, The Argotist, Fascicle, Free Verse, CrossXConnect, BlazeVox, MiPoesias, Effing Magazine, Cordite, Dusie, Galatea, Eratio, Cipher Journal, EOAGH, Otoliths, Aught, and Shampoo. In 2006 he was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
